Traffic Signalling

Compass received the assignment from the Ministry of Infrastructure to replace the existing A15/A16/A38 road signs. This contract includes the replacement of 120 substations for roadside stations and the replacement of the associated detector stations and about 500 matrix signal generators. In addition, the functional links between the tunnel installations of the Drecht tunnel are being replaced and the functional link between the wind warning system and MTM at the Ridderkerk junction is being replaced. To make traffic systems accessible at the Ministry of Infrastructure Network, approximately 30 kilometers of new fiber optic infrastructure will be installed.

We work closely with our partners, including Siemens. In order to carry out the work safely, the A16 was closed for several weekends in 2018 and 2019.
