Compass and Alphatron (System Integrator Video Solutions) have performed a comparison test to determine the most applicable camera. Incident Management and rush-hour lane Management require digital cameras that meet the governmental specifications and at the same time provide the required quality for the traffic control center.

Under the watchful eye of the Dutch Ministry, a number of high-end suppliers and employees of the traffic center, six digital and one analog camera were set up and compared on the viaduct in Rotterdam. The difference in performance and quality of the cameras became clearly visible in this way. The cooperation of all suppliers made an impartial comparison possible.
